About Doing it Well
Built for Companies Already Live on NetSuite
The Implementation Is Over, The Work Isn't. Go-Live is where most NetSuite relationships thin out - the project team rolls off, the partner goes quiet, and whatever happens next is on you. Operis is built for the years after that, when the account keeps changing and nobody owns it.

✅ Organizations 12–18 Months Past Go-Live Who Need Structured Oversight, Not Another Implementation
✅ Finance Teams Who Need A NetSuite Partner Who Speaks Accounting, Not Just SuiteScript
✅ Companies With No Internal NetSuite Owner - Or An Internal Admin Who Is Stretched Too Thin
✅ Fast-growing and PE-backed organizations running multiple parallel NetSuite initiatives
✅ Organizations doing M&A, new entity setup, or new module rollouts
✅ NetSuite ACS customers who feel the gaps in strategic guidance and senior escalation
✅ Companies whose NetSuite was implemented by someone else - including partners who have since disappeared
✅ Anyone tired of explaining their business to a different consultant every time they open a ticket
A Modern Approach To NetSuite Support
Aligned to how fast your business actually changes. Two NetSuite releases a year. New entities, new modules, new people. AI features landing in your account whether you plannded for them or not. Most support modeuls were built for an ERP that sits still. Yours hasn't sat still since go-live.
THE OLD WAY
❌ A Ticket Queue - Not A Relationship
❌ A Different Consultant Every Time
❌ No Idea Where The Hours Went
❌ Nobody Owns Your NetSuite Strategy
❌ Unexplainable, Undocumented Customizations
❌ Every NetSuite Release Is A Supprise
❌ Institutional Memory Walks Out The Door

THE OPERIS WAY
✅ Named Client Success Architect Who Knows Your Account
✅ Named Resources With Continuity Across Every Request
✅ Weekly & End-of-Month Activity Reports, Hour by Hour
✅ Scheduled Business Reviews Timed To Your Tier
✅ A Documented Technical Audit & Architecture Map
✅ Release Impact Analysis Before The Release Lands
✅ Account History, Decisions, and Fixes Documented & Retained
Proactive Isn't A Promise.
It's A Ratio.
Operis targets 70% of engagement hours on improving your NetSuite account, and 30% on general support.
Every managed services provider says they're proactive. Operis measures it. The 70/30 target is what separates a managed service from a support contract - and it's why every Operis engagement starts with Business Discovery, runs on a prioritized case backlog you control, and gets reported back to you weekly.
If the ratio inverts - if BSP is spending all of your hours firefighting - that's a finding, and your Client Success Architect raises it at your next Business Review.
That's the job.

Every Operis Engagement
Starts With A Business Discovery
Business Discovery is a structured audit of your NetSuite account, your finance setup, and your business direction,
delivered at the start of every Operis Managed Services engagement and included in the price of every tier.
BSP's position is simple: Nobody should recommend structural changes to a NetSuite account they haven't examined.
Business Direction
Led by your Client Success Architect
Conversations with key staff covering business initiatives, pain points, friction, and long-term goals. Where BSP learns what the business is actually trying to do.
Finance Setup Audit
Led by a BSP Finance Specialist
A review of your finance configuration, financials tie-out, closed periods, and bank reconciliations. By people with accounting backgrounds, not just NetSuite experience.
Technical Audit
Performed by a BSP Tech Consultant
An inventory of enabled features, modules, users, role types, scripting, workflows, and customizations. For most customers, the first documented picture of their account.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
What Is Operis?
Operis is the NetSuite managed services and support program from Business Solution Partners (BSP), an Oracle NetSuite Solution Provider and Alliance Partner. It covers post-implementation NetSuite work through six products: Advise and Assist (reactive support contracts) and Essentials, Optimize, Growth, and Augment (proactive managed services with named resources). Operis is Latin for craftsmanship.
-
What's the difference between NetSuite Support and NetSuite Managed Services?
A support contract is reactive: you submit a request, the provider responds, and there's no named owner or scheduled strategic cadence. Managed services are proactive: a named Client Success Architect owns the relationship, the engagement begins with a documented Business Discovery, work is planned against a prioritized backlog, and Business Reviews keep the NetSuite roadmap aligned with the business. At BSP, Advise and Assist are the support contracts; Essentials, Optimize, Growth, and Augment are the managed services.
-
What is a Client Success Architect?
A Client Success Architect (CSA) is the named BSP resource who holds overall responsibility for a customer's NetSuite account throughout an Operis engagement. The CSA triages and assigns incoming cases, runs Business Reviews, maintains the prioritized case backlog with the customer's team, joins the customer's internal NetSuite and ISV reviews, and serves as the single point of continuity at BSP. Every Operis Managed Services tier includes a named CSA.
-
What is included in BSP's Business Discovery?
Business Discovery is included in every Operis Managed Services engagement. It comprises three audits: Business Direction conversations led by the Client Success Architect covering initiatives, pain points, and long-term goals; a Finance Setup Audit led by a BSP Finance Specialist covering finance configuration, financials tie-out, closed periods, and bank reconciliations; and a Technical Audit performed by a BSP Technical Consultant covering enabled features, modules, users, role types, scripting, workflows, and customizations. Findings are presented back within three weeks of kickoff, along with an initial case list and a prioritized backlog.
-
How is Operis priced?
Operis is sold in units. A unit is a fixed block of hours per period - 10 hours per month for Essentials, 15 hours per month for Optimize and Growth, and 15 hours per quarter for Augment. Customers buy one or more units and can add units mid-contract if consumption consistently exceeds baseline. Growth carries a three-unit minimum. Contracts run 12 months, billed in advance. Contact BSP for current rates for your environment.
-
Is Operis a replacement for NetSuite ACS?
Operis can replace NetSuite ACS, but it doesn't have to. BSP's Augment product is designed to sit alongside an active ACS contract, adding a named Client Success Architect, senior escalation support, and quarterly strategic sync-ups to fill ACS's known gaps in proactive guidance. Organizations that want to move off ACS entirely typically move to Essentials or Optimize.
-
Does BSP support NetSuite accounts it didn't implement?
Yes. A significant share of Operis customers were implemented by another partner, or by a partner who is no longer in the picture. Business Discovery exists partly for this situation: the Technical Audit documents what's actually in the account before BSP recommends any change.
-
How long is an Operis contract?
Operis contracts run 12 months, billed in advance, and auto-renew unless cancelled with 45 days' notice. Units can be added mid-contract if consumption consistently exceeds baseline.
-
How soon can an Operis engagement start?
BSP requests signature 10 days before the intended start date to coordinate resources and account access. General support begins on day one of the contract, and Business Discovery targets completion within three weeks of kickoff. Capacity is finite - once available units in a period are sold, the next start date moves to the following month.
