TED Tuesdays: Teach Girls Bravery, Not Perfection

Written by Business Solution Partners | Jun 25, 2019 12:36:00 PM

"I need each of you to tell every young woman you know to be comfortable with imperfection."

We're raising our boys to be brave, and our girls to be perfect - Reshma Saujani, founder of Girls Who Code, makes this argument from the TED stage as she outlines a future where girls are given the skills they need to move society forward. Her argument that we need to socialize young girls to take risks and learn how to program addresses the striking improprieties that one half of the global population faces daily.

Speaker : Reshma Saujani

The Author of "Brave, Not Perfect," and founder of the global movement "Girls Who Code," Reshma Saujani is a champion for changing the image of who a programmer is, and what they do. Helping to close the gender gap in STEM, and inspire a generation of young women coders.
