Real Time Services Inc is a Long Island-based full-service audiovisual systems integration company. Project Background and Goals

Real Time Services typically bids on audiovisual projects and wins the work after multiple quotations to the client for hardware, software and professional services.  To properly manage these projects, Real Time needs to keep track of their quoted prices for materials and labor, actual expenses incurred for material and labor, payments made to suppliers, and payments received from customers.  Prior to engaging Business Solution Partners, Real Time was using multiple software systems that did not share data with each other.  Many of the tasks were done manually and there was a significant amount of redundant data entry.  Real Time Systems needed an integrated business system that would handle project quoting, time sheets, inventory costs, purchase orders and billing, with a minimum of redundant data entry and a maximum of automation and real-time reporting.  

Solution Implementation

Application and Modules Selected - Real Time Services selected Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics for their financial system and WorkforceROI's Intellisol Project Accounting System.  Business Solutions Partners was chosen to install and implement the financial accounting system and seamlessly integrate it with the Project Accounting System.  In addition, BSP customized various time sheets, purchase orders, reports, and the like to be compatible with the existing business processes.  Modules that were implemented include:

· General Ledger with FRx     · Purchase Order Processing    

Database Integrated - The database selected for the system was Microsoft SQL Server 2000. 

Integration Tools Applied - Integration tools that were used during the project included Integration Manager.
